What Are The Possible Treatments For Insomnia?

Insomnia is a sleep disorder that is becoming more common today and it often occurs in more mature people. It is estimated that suffers of insomnia when broken down affects women by about 40 percent and men about thirty percent worldwide and this tends to increase with age. The symptoms associated with insomnia are the in ability to sleep, fatigue, and a decrease in alertness, poor concentration along with decreased performance at work. This cortisol in high amount deprives people of sleep. Aswangandha promotes a calm state in mind by its restorative action to the nervous system, which counteracts tension and high blood pressure. This brings the body to a state of equilibrium, making the body to relax during stress and fatigue. Rather than masking with sedatives, aswagandha restores sleep to insomniac patient.

    Bahmi contains antioxidants and other useful active ingredients. These antioxidants strengthen the blood vessel and enhance the circulation of blood inside our body. The active ingredients contained in Brahmi helps to increase the production of melatonin, which promotes the individual to feel deep, calm and sleepy. Brahmi also helps our body in stimulating the production of neurotransmitters that are lost with sleeplessness in insomnia patient.

    The unbalancing of vataa according to ayurveda causes Insomnia and Vataa is created by the combination of Air and Earth. Which is believed to govern the movement in the body in such a way by enhancing the nerve impulses, blood circulation, respiration and elimination.
